Buttered croissants.  YUM.  Warm coffee in my mug.  Proceeded by a coastal drive past some of the most gorgeous city’s in California.  Then there were smiles.  Hugs.  Conversation that couldn’t be more delightful, more genuine, more perfect.  Conversation that is easy and real and feels like it was a conversation that we have had for years.  And then to top all that off, an awesome photo shoot of a beautiful family on a fabulous San Clemente beach. 

I cannot begin to tell you how delighted I was the Maria, Danny and Devon wanted me to come and do another photo shoot with them!  To me having a return customer is just about the coolest thing that I can think of.  I mean, to me that conveys that I remembered to wipe my feet and mind my manners and might have even got some pretty good pictures the last time we hung out.  WOW. That is pretty good stuff!

Thank you guys for being so incredibly hospitable, filling my belly with my favorite things and for being the most patient people ever when I kept saying “just one more second and I will have the shot”.   I am excited to say, I think we got the shot! 

Because why does a photo shoot have to be just about the adorable little one? I was so excited to catch this one of Maria and Danny….

Maria said she wouldn’t mind if I played around with some textures on her photos….I really love the way this one below turned out! I would love to see it BIG.

Then we headed home…and Devon wasn’t as excited to do a photo shoot indoors. So we had family reading time.

….but I managed to capture one of those sweet smiles!

AND THEN mama let her have some fun in the shoe closet! Devon perked right up and it was SO CUTE. I just love when my clients come up with the best ideas!
