December Photo Project – Day 3

We are a little behind on our  photo postings for December Photo Project, but don’t worry, we have been taking photos everyday!  Day 3′s biggest highlight was Daniel’s work Christmas Party.  Hosted by Daniel’s wonderful boss and his beautiful wife, complete with great food and wine, and topped with stimulating conversation and play buddies for Dayla,  it was a great time!  Here is a picture of Daniel and his amazing co-workers.  When we count our blessings, they are on the list.  dpp2009-3

December Photo Project – Day 2

For day 2 of the December Photo Project I had beer on the mind. After all this weekend is the San Diego Strong Ale Festival. I’m a strong beer fan. I won’t make it to the festival this year but I can raise a glass in tribute. This is a Paulaner Salvator Double Bock (7.9% ABV).

December Photo Project – Day 1

5 Comments Posted in life

The last few years we have really enjoyed  participating in the December Photo Project from our other blog Baby Meatball. This year we are going to participate here on Sundin Photography.

The basic premise is to take one picture each day in December leading up to Christmas and post it on your blog or Flickr. I like it because it forces me to think about out of the ordinary things to photograph.

Here is Day 1′s picture.

Ginette was out on the town so Dayla and I had some time to kill. I decided to play around with an off-camera flash and a homemade snoot I had lying around. I mounted the camera low on a stable tripod and manual focused on the chair. Most of the pictures are of me (taken by Dayla) and my scary beard. She loved pressing the button over and over and seeing me get blasted by the flash. In the end I decided on this cuter picture of Dayla.
